Our next jumble is:
FREE ADVERTISING OF BOATS FOR SALE OVER 20 FEET IN LENGTH
We realise that it is not practical to physically transport larger boats to the above venue in the hope that a new owner will buy on the day and thence transport the vessel to its new home.
In order to put sellers of vessels over 20 feet in length in contact with potential buyers, we aim to establish a contact display board at this year's Spring show.
All that we ask is that we receive a laminated picture of the vessel offered for sale together with a description of the boat and associated equipment with a selling price and contact details for potential buyers. All details should be contained within an A4 single sheet document.
All sales sheets obtained will be displayed on the Boats for Sale board during the duration of the Boat Jumble for all customers to view. Laminated sheets should be sent by post to:
William Aitken, Emoh Ruo, Ayr Road, Irvine, Ayrshire , KA11 5AB no later than Friday the 3rd May.
This could be an ideal opportunity for your members/customers to advertise their boats to a wide audience of potential buyers at no cost other than the production and postage costs of the A4 poster.
|During the West of Scotland Boat Jumble the RNLI Coastal Trailer will be on site with personnel on hand to offer Sea Safety Advice and operate a free Lifejacket Clinic and testing facility . Bring along your lifejacket and make sure it’s in good working condition before Winter sets in.|
About West of Scotland Boat Jumble
The West Of Scotland Boat Jumble is organised and run by dedicated volunteers for the benefit of groups within the harbourside area.
Beneficiaries thus far include Irvine Water Sports Club, Scottish Maritime Museum and Irvine River Mooring Association which is working towards improving harbour moorings and safer navigation into, and within, the harbour.
Your entrance fee is very much appreciated and assists the organisers to continue in their aims.
The West Of Scotland Boat Jumble welcomes families. Your ticket price includes free entry for children and entitles you to half price entry to the Maritime Museum and Lint Building exhibits.
We welcome anyone with surplus boating equipment to sell at our jumble. Please contact us if you would like a car boot or full sized pitch.
